Auritea 2019 scores 93 Points in Falstaff’s Costa Toscana Tasting & Trophy

Tenute Lunelli Auritea 2019 (Costa Toscana IGT) received the score of 93/100 from leading international wine magazine Falstaff in its special edition focused on Costa Toscana’s wines.

The rating, given by critics Othmar Kiem and Simon Staffler, praised the wine for its remarkable elegance and aging potential of this pure Cabernet Franc — an authentic expression of the terroir of the Pisan hills.

The name Auritea itself evokes the ancient marine fossil Arca Aurita, found in the soils of Tenuta Podernovo for millions of years, which imparts to this wine a seductive minerality, aromatic complexity, freshness, and savoriness.
